Polder 898-95 Clock, Timer and Stopwatch, Black Reviews
Its a workhorse. I use it all the time.br /br /As it doesn't do much, there aren't many buttons and the display is as simple as it gets. The buttons that are there are cleanly laid out and color coded. Even without my reading glasses, I can set and read it.br /br /Things I like:br /- It will not shut up. It will beep until you deal with it.br /- It counts up after it expires. You know the overrun time.br /- It remembers the last time setting. Interval timing is easy.br /- As it only does one thing, you don't have to worry about screwing up the settings. I had a multi-timer where I would always be cancelling ALL timers, not just the one that beeped.br /- It comes in black and white. Which timer is for what is a clear as, well, black and whitebr /- It's easy to carry around the neck or in a pocket. I love it when I am grilling.br /br /There is nothing that I dislike about the little guy.

3 stars because there isn't anything better. - JR - Saratoga, CAI like that I can hang this on my neck and slip it into my front pocket or shoulder sleeve pocket. I also like number buttons on a timer so I can set a precise time without the tedious up and down buttons. This one also has hours, minutes and seconds so it will do everything I need. I don't like how the numbers are labeled by the buttons. It takes some getting used to and is easy to press the wrong button because the label is halfway between two buttons. This has clock, count-up and count-down functions. It took some trial and error to figure out how to set the clock. It's also possible to accidentally bump the clear and the start/stop button when the timer is in your pocket. That screws up your whole cook or whatever you're timing. Finally, the battery clip cover is horrible. Too easy to lose and very difficult to get the battery in. The first time the internal clip was bent. It took me 5 minutes to figure out that I could re-seat it with a pen and then it worked fine. Until I find something better, this is what I'll use. Still hunting. By the way, I've spied this around the necks of professional chefs.
Nice timer but only one timer! - electricguy -
I had thought this had multiple timers on it. Has enough buttons but it doesn't. Works well for what it is though. One timer. Very loud. Can pick any time you want with the ten buttons.
